NEW TAKE ON THE CLASSICS

Sabon has similar characteristics to Garamond. The serifs, weights and x-height make it easy on the eyes when reading body copy set in the typeface.

OBJECTIVE
Create a type specimen promotion booklet that adequately represents your chosen typeface. It should highlight the history, structural characteristics, weight and usage. The material must fascinate a design audience.

APPROACH
The booklet is about both Sabon and Jan Tschichold. The composition of the typeface breaks the mold but it is still easy to understand. I wanted to show the elegance of the typeface and stress its legibility.
